Matt has over 20 years business experience, with the past 15 years being in the Information & Communications Technology (ICT) sector, consulting with clients across the full spectrum of business challenges e.g. Mergers Acquisitions & Divestments; Business Transformation & Integration Programs; Business Process Improvement; People & Change Management; Sales & Business Enablement; Training & Education.

He has provided end-to-end ICT solutions for clients, including Business & Technology Consulting; Applications Development & Maintenance; Infrastructure & Software Solutions; Service Delivery Management & Managed Services (Outsourcing); Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Planning; and Telco solutions.

Matt is also a Partner at Wiltshire Corporate Advisory (wiltshireca.com.au), and holds a Commerce degree, majoring in Marketing & Management; and is a Member of the Melbourne Junior Chamber of Commerce (MJCC), The Turnaround Management Association (TMA Australia), and the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD).

Russell Lane

Russell brings to Cloud9 more than 25 years’ experience in strategic and operational leadership roles with a strong emphasis on delivering commercial growth and profitability for services companies, and on delivering step-change improvements in business and executive performance.

He leads the operations of the Cloud9 Business and is accountable for strategy formation and execution, driving business performance and growth, and overseeing the primary corporate functions of marketing, finance, commercial, client delivery, consulting practice management and corporate governance.

Russell also delivers a range of executive level consulting engagements with clients across technology, finance, transport and health industries.

Stephen Chan

Stephen Chan

Stephen holds a Bachelor of Management (Human Resources) and has a successful track record of attracting, managing and retaining high–calibre resources to deliver tangible outcomes for large blue chip clients across multiple business and IT disciplines.

He is a proven results orientated manager with the ability of driving efficiency, delivering strategic resourcing objectives, increasing revenue, delivering innovative and cost effective solutions.

Stephen has successfully built resourcing teams and internal processes from scratch along with implementing strategic sourcing and consultant engagement strategies to retain the best talent in market.

Stephen leads Cloud9’s People & Culture function which includes strategy development and delivery, resource management, talent acquisition, consultant retention, business process improvement and back office operations.

He prides himself on being honest, transparent and accountable; and has an aim to develop long-term, not short-term, business relationships with our clients and consultants alike.

Nigel Karunatileke

Partner

Nigel has over 20 years of ICT experience, with the past 10 years at Telstra working with clients across Business Transformation & Innovation Programs; executing clients’ ICT Strategies and providing thought leadership and leading technology transformation programs.

He has provided business and ICT solutions for clients, including Technology Consulting; Infrastructure & Software solutions; Service Delivery Management & Managed Services (Outsourcing). Nigel’s strengths also include developing strategies in the following areas: Contact Centres, Unified Communications, Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Planning; Security Consulting; and Telco solutions. He also has a passion for mentoring/sales coaching senior account executives in shaping major complex deals for clients.

Nigel has served clients across various industries, including lead roles in the Construction sector and Airline & Travel sector. He has also worked with clients in the Mining, Oil, Gas, Manufacturing and Transport sectors.

Mazen Naim

Mazen has almost 20 years in the IT industry covering multiple sectors including Telecommunication, Financial Services, Digital, Gaming, Utilities and Aviation. Throughout his career Mazen has thrived in challenging environments where he has demonstrated clear commitment and strong initiative, and he is supported by a drive to deliver his clients the best tangible outcome within their investment and project dynamics.

Mazen’s has deep experience within Project Management and project rescue, establishing teams for high performance, process improvement, requirements analysis and stakeholder management. Mazen holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics), a diploma in Business Management and a PMP.

Mazen has established Cloud9’s Project Recovery practice in response to a growing need in the market to increase returns from capital project investments and maximise project contributions to commercial growth and strategic development.

Toby Chipper

Toby Chipper

Toby has been working in the Operations and IT industries for almost 20 years with a consistent focus on delivering strategic outcomes for organisations across the Financial, FMCG, Education, Aviation and Health sectors. He has successfully delivered programs and projects encompassing Big Data, CRM, Application development, Digital platforms, Infrastructure, Organisational transformation, and most recently for the last 18 months, Cyber Security. This has provided Toby a solid and broad foundation of experience to provide to clients.

Throughout his career, he has built and strengthened relationships by focusing on the human element of delivery, developing and mentoring strong performing individuals and teams that complement and enhance key outcomes for clients. Toby has been constantly educating himself on project/systems management methodologies which can be used in his toolkit to structure and govern delivery. By having the right people with the right focus and skill sets, his proven track record of delivery has demonstrated his approach is both flexible and scalable to clients’ needs.

In his role as Principal with Cloud9, Toby will continue to build strong relationships with clients and develop high performing project teams, with the focus being the best possible delivery outcomes for clients and team members alike.

Michael Ambrosino

With over a decade of testing leadership and ICT project delivery under his belt, Michael has founded his success on establishing trusted relationships through value-driven client engagements. Having completed a Masters in Information Technology (Project Management), Michael’s specific areas of expertise are in Test Strategy, Release Management, Project Delivery Frameworks and Tooling.

With a track record of project delivery and consulting experience across Financial Services, Aviation, Telco, ICT and Retail, Michael’s wealth of industry and technology experience allows him to be flexible in his approach to helping deliver solutions to suit any situation or environment. Key projects include enterprise transformation programs, pre/post M&A integration programs, IT infrastructure upgrades, enterprise disaster recovery planning, application and platform virtualisation, IP telephony, remote site network deployments and mobile device deployments.

As the leader of Cloud9’s Testing Services Practice, Michael believes strongly in developing and empowering others to drive quality through knowledge, strategic thinking and efficiency. Part of this approach involves keeping across the latest technology and industry trends to deliver better value for clients. Through creating close ties with other Cloud9 Practices, the Testing Services Practice is built around driving end-to-end outcomes for clients.

Iain is an accomplished IT Strategist, Enterprise Architect and Senior Business & IT professional, who brings over 23 years’ experience working across financial services, mining & resources, manufacturing, telecommunications, media & entertainment, professional services, ICT, retail, insurance, healthcare, higher education, state, federal and international Govt. industry sectors.

He combines this broad industry experience with a proven track record of successful delivery across major transformation and integration programs and a depth of knowledge across a wide range of technology ecosystems and platforms.

Iain ensures that sustainable business outcomes are delivered across people, processes, channel/vendor partners and the underlying technology by combining and leveraging a broad range of skills and diverse experience in approaches ranging from Human Centred Design, Agile, Lean, ITIL, PRINCE 2, TOGAF, through to contemporary culture change and innovation methods.

The Architecture and Strategic Design Practice he leads for Cloud9 enables our clients to leverage focused business strategy, enterprise level technology planning, program architecture and strategic design skills to assist in achieving tangible business results.
