Cloud9 was engaged to assist with achieving these goals, focussed on the following:
- Providing strategically aligned architecture and advisory services across the entire LTR portfolio
- Assisting with Business Case development & review for key programs in the LTR space
- Managing the program architecture across the key strategic programs shaping the future of its core Learning and Teaching business (Learning Ecosystem & Microcredentials)
- Define, manage, align and integrate Program Architecture with strategic plan, business plans, ICT plan and technology landscape
Challenges
- Transforming core technology platforms used to deliver Learning & Teaching across their Global footprint without disruption (100,000 students, 10,000 staff, 8000 courses, multiple entities)
- Transformation of educational approach across the university with diverse set of operational, Learning & Teaching practices and approaches undergoing significant change and uplift
- Integration of new Learning Ecosystem (including Canvas LMS)and microcredentialing capabilities into global technology landscape itself undergoing major transformation
- Managing stakeholder requirements across multiple organisational entities, partners, colleges, schools, faculties, teams
- Incorporating, streamlining and evolving a diverse and complex range of approaches used to deliver L&T
Solutions
Cloud9 worked with the university to:
- Define and align a learning ecosystem and micro-credentialing capability approach, consulting across the organisation to integrate this with business operations and technology platforms
- Providing ongoing Program Architecture leadershipand consulting services to align outcomes across internal teams, business stakeholders, partners and vendors
- Advised on adiverse set of activities ranging from business cases, program planning, architecture governance to UX and business processes
